… When you think about it, think about it.. Life = a lot of Swallowing..
You Swallow your food to live..
You Swallow your pride to survive..
You Swallow the rudeness of customers to keep your job..
You Swallow the pain of child bearing for that amazing baby..
You Swallow your true thoughts to be politically correct..
Swallow Swallow Swallow Swallow.. . It goes on and on…
The next morning you suppress it all with a cup(s) of coffee, Swallow it down.
And it starts all over again… Lol
Happy Swallowing people…
Slimy green goodness….

Pepper (scotch bonnet or black pepper)
Oil (I used palm oil)
Heat oil in pan, pour in okra, salt, cube, pepper and stir for few minutes. Add water and cover to simmer for five minutes before adding fish, cook for few minutes. Serve hot! Enjoy!
Thanks to Netflix, I have just finished binging on 10 seasons of “friends” television show and I must say I enjoyed every episode. The show is funny, entertaining and easy to watch.
For me, the jokes just never get old. The storey lines are based on real life every day scenarios that these six friends find themselves experiencing. I grew up watching “friends” and it was great to have an opportunity to watch it all again.
I think it’s safe to say that “friends” dealt with some sticky subjects at the time, they not only navigated through them in a gentle way (one that will not offend the viewers), but in a jovial and upbeat manner.
So I hope you can understand my shock when I heard that “millennial’s” were offended by the story lines on “friends” calling it homophobic, sexist, body shaming and trans phobic.
What’s the point of it all if you can’t talk about delicate issues with light-hearted humour all because of “political correctness”??
Please lighten up and enjoy a good comedy!!
So there has been a few arguments from people that I know (not naming names, lol) and it’s about this known fact, that Alexandra Daddario is the most beautiful woman in Hollywood. You may remember her in the Percy Jackson film series and Baywatch.
They say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder….. but there is no denying that this actress will always be acceptable as very beautiful in any beholder’s eyes….lol.
What do you think?
This is a typical Nigerian snack. A great vegan/vegetarian sandwich filler.
All you need is…
Black eye beans
Soak beans in water for a few minutes, then scrub with palms in circular motion until skin comes off. Rinse and sieve off all skins. Repeat till you are left with clean beans without skins.
Next, blend beans thoroughly to a smooth texture without lumps (add little or no water). Pour the batter into a bowl, stir in salt, onions and pepper. Scoop with spoon and deep fry in vegetable oil. Enjoy hot or cold.
